Automotive Service Director

 
Respect Auto Group recently acquired Yonkers Kia; we are seeking an experienced Service Director to lead our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct the operations of the service department, including but not limited to
  • Utilizing the tools provided within XTime service scheduler, pricing and marketing
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards for automotive care and maintenance
  • Supervise 3 to 4 Service Advisors, up to 15 Service Technicians, Parts Team and Service Receptionist
  • Develop processes within the department for profitablity and efficiency
  • Client communications
  • Pricing of service and parts products and services
  • Oversee parts inventory management
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts and relevant financial information
  • Ensure automotive service staff comply with environmental laws and regulations
  • Oversee the procurement of vehicle parts, automotive equipment and various other items required in an auto service department
  • Evaluate the performance of automotive service staff
  • Maintain excellent CSI performance
  • Oversee the disposal of wastes such as used engine oil, soot to ensure adherence to health and safety laws
  • Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to their skills
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 3-5 years of automotive service experience is required
  • Must have experience with automotive dealership management systems
  • Desire to coach and train team to exceed their goals
  • Excellent computer skills needed
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multitask
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Strong written and communications skills
  • Must have valid driver's license, and clean driving record

Automotive BDC Manager

  
Seeking Action Oriented, Strategic Minded, Customer Service Focused Leader with Desire to Win!

The Business Development Center (BDC) Manager is responsible for supervision of the BDC representatives and the production output of the department. The ideal candidate will have strong skills handling incoming phone calls and internet requests as well as scheduling appointments so as to lead by example and train. We are seeking a candidate who possesses the drive to be the best. Video follow up is essential to the success of the department. As a professional leading a team, this leadership role has oversight of customer service and our BDC representatives' production. The team must have on-going training and their success is the BDC manager's responsibility. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Lead team in answering all incoming calls to the department and scheduling appointments 
  • Lead team and participate in answering all internet inquiries to facilitate appointments into the dealership 
  • Making phone calls to customers after visiting the showroom to find out about their experience 
  • Making outbound calls to our current customers to remind them of lease termination or equity positions in retail vehicles 
  • Video follow up to customers 
  • Maintains accurate sales documentation 
  •  Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions 
  • Attends all staff meetings, training's, and educational classes as required 
  • Helps educate/train new staff members 
  • Performs other duties as assigned Helps customer with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services via phone, email, text or chat.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent phone & computer communication skills 
  • Must have a clear, articulate and pleasant speaking voice 
  • Must be a genuine people person 
  • Customer service and/or telephone contact experience 
  • Must be extremely dependable 
  • Must be friendly and upbeat and like talking on the phone helping people find answers to their questions. 
  • Ability to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mail skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task Excellent written and verbal bi-lingual communication skills a plus. Excellent follow-up skills 
  •  Dependable and compliant in following assigned work schedule which will include evening and Saturday hours. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, co-workers, management and vendors.
